Brick Blessing a Joyful Celebration

 
Thank you to all of our parishioners, friends, and donors that joined us for our Brick Blessing Celebration. Phase 1 of our capital campaign has officially begun!
 
 
Father Walter blessed the bricks with the following words:
 
Let us pray:
Oh God, this celebration today reminds us that we share in your creation. Each brick reminds us of our strength through you. Each window of our beautiful Church reminds us of your light that shines through us.
God of Love and Light bless each brick. Bless all the hands and hearts restoring this Church as we have much gratitude for the gifts. Bless all who have given their treasures and sacrifices in the past and present, and who continue in making this day possible.
Lord, each time two or more are gathered, may we see your presence surrounding us. In our gatherings, fill our hearts with happiness, and may this parish family be filled with joy. As we congregate here for worship, surround us with your peace, and may our spirits experience your comfort. 
In the midst of our fundraising campaign to continue our repairs and renovations to our beloved Church, we remember the words of fellow Pope Saint John Paul II:
 
Let us remember the past with gratitude, live the present with enthusiasm, and look forward to the future with confidence. 
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
