Religious Education for Children
CCD – Confraternity of Christian Doctrine
CCD is a religious education program for Catholic children attending secular schools. Classes are held on Sunday mornings in the parish school. In addition to learning about the Catholic faith, there is a focus on the importance of Sunday Mass attendance and the real presence of our Lord in the Eucharist. After classroom lessons, teachers and students walk to church to recite the Rosary or other seasonal devotions before attending the 10:00 AM Mass, which is also a required part of the instruction. Parents are encouraged to attend class with their children, as well as attending Mass as a family unit. Click here for the registration form.
