Saint Stanislaus Kostka Parish & School Endowments
Saint Stanislaus Parish is fortunate and grateful to have the financial support of two endowment funds. These legacy funds keep providing monetary support to the parish year after year, long after the initial donation is received.
The idea behind an endowment is simple. Donations to the account build the principle, which in turn, generates interest. The interest is available for the parish to use in the manner specified by each charter. It is important to note that only the earnings are available for withdrawal. The principle of the account cannot be used.
The school endowment was established in 2001, for the specific purpose of supporting our parish school. Numerous building and educational projects are financed each year by the earned interest received.
In 2018, Saint Stanislaus Parish received a bequeath to endow a maintenance and renovation fund for the parish. The intention is to build the fund and provide an additional source of revenue to our various repair and renovation needs.
Both endowments are part of the Catholic Foundation for Northwest Indiana, a separately held corporation.
