Lectors – The Lector proclaims the Word of God at Mass and in doing so serves as the mouthpiece through which God speaks to the Church. Requirements of serving as a Lector include being a member in good standing of the Roman Catholic faith, as well as active participation in parish life, regular Mass attendance, and a genuine desire to share the Word of God.
